Option Audio Pty Ltd. (OA) warrants all OA products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of (1) year from the date of original purchase. The warranty of 1 year only applies when purchased from an authorized OA reseller in store or online within Australia. The effective warranty period will be two (2) years if the products were purchased from and installed by an Authorized OA Reseller.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
WHAT IS COVERED – Parts and labor to effect replacement of defective part(s) or malfunction, or at the sole discretion of OA, the replacement of the entire system should the system or any component part(s) fail to perform as designed. Possible use of refurbished part(s) or units for repair or product replacement may be required. Any data lost during repair is not the responsibility of Option Audio.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED – Installation, setup, repair or replacement of the system or any parts thereof which, in OA judgment, fail or become damaged as a result of negligence, improper use, abuse, unauthorized modification or service, improper or inadequate packaging during shipment, installation by a non-authorized dealer, accident, or use for any purpose other than those for which this product was originally intended, or where the model’s serial number has been removed, altered or defaced. The warranty is non transferable. Option Audio will not accept consequential damages as a result of product failure.
WHAT COST IN REPAIR IF REQUIRED – In the instance a product is deemed not under warranty, units can either be repaired or replaced with a new unit at a nominated price. OA resellers or consumers will be required to contact OA for a definitive quoted price that will be required to be paid prior to commencing repair or replacement sent.
WHO IS COVERED – Original purchaser as long as they reside in an area which an OA reseller can be provided with the original date of purchase (e.g. store receipt from an OA retailer). Product returned for repair/service must be properly packaged and clearly marked with the Return Authorization (RA) number issued by OA Reseller. If the RA number is not clearly marked on the package or no RA number issued, the product will be returned. All warranty enquires will be handled through the reseller and not directly with the customer.
